Cancellation & Refunds
This is the policy that applies to every paid session booked through Decode Your Love.
POST /bookings/{id}/cancel) is built to enforce exactly these numbers — so a change here after Phase 2 ships means updating that code too, not just this page.Cancelling a session
- 24 hours or more before your session: full refund to your original payment method, or a free reschedule to a new slot — your choice.
- Less than 24 hours before your session: not eligible for a refund, but you may reschedule once at no charge, provided you request it before the original session time.
- No-shows (not joining within 15 minutes of the start time, with no prior notice) forfeit the session — no refund and no automatic reschedule.
If Priya needs to cancel or reschedule
If a session is cancelled on our side for any reason, you receive a full refund or a free reschedule to a new slot — your choice, regardless of how much notice was given.
Session packages
Each session within a package follows the same cancellation and no-show rules above. Unused sessions in a package remain valid until the expiry period shown at the time of purchase; sessions that expire unused are not refunded.
How refunds are paid
Refunds are issued to the original payment method through Razorpay and typically arrive within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Disputes
If something about a charge looks wrong, please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank — we can usually resolve it faster directly.
